This mod doesn't add new monsters — it makes the existing ones smarter and scarier. Hostile mobs now hunt you by smell, sound and light, not just by seeing you. Breaking line of sight no longer means you're safe.

How they find you

  • Blood scent — taking damage (or just being below ~60% health) leaves a trail mobs can smell from far away. Heal up to shake them off.
  • Sound — mining, breaking blocks, pistons and groaning zombies all draw monsters in to investigate.
  • Light — at night, zombies drift toward light sources near you, so torch placement matters.

You'll hear custom audio cues when a mob starts investigating a noise or has locked onto you — a fair warning before things go wrong.

Survival tips

Stay above 60% health to stop bleeding a trail, keep noise down when monsters are near, and remember that caves are extra dangerous — they get more spawns. Great for "survive the night unnoticed" style challenges.

This affects the usual suspects (zombies, husks, creepers, skeletons, strays, witches) and is fully tunable by the server admin.
