Vanilla strongholds are a maze of identical stone rooms. YUNG's Better Strongholds replaces them with large, hand-crafted dungeons full of new rooms, decorations, secret passages, traps and proper loot — the kind of place that's actually worth exploring on the way to the End portal.
What changes
- Big, varied layouts with libraries, prisons, crypts and hidden vaults.
- New decorative blocks and details that make each stronghold feel built, not generated.
- Better treasure — but watch for traps and tougher encounters.
Reaching the End
On this server, how you get to the Nether and End is handled by Realm Gates — sometimes through gates rather than vanilla portals. Ask the admin about the current setup.
